- Five years ago in the Chicago Loop, a young woman approached me and asked for a cigarette. I don't smoke. She replied, "Ahh, you look like the right type" and ran off. I ran home and illustrated her words, and have been listening in and drawing overheard dialogue, every day, ever since.

just discovered you today and oh my goodness gracious. lovely lovely. i hated to get to the end. (sigh) i stared collecting overheard quotes a few years back and it's such good laughter therapy to go back and read them.
